In our previous issue, well-known specialist collector, GARY BROWN FRPSL, introduced a little-known aspect of postal history – the Airgraph system used largely to keep WWII troops “in touch” with home. Not only were Airgraphs used widely – anywhere from Ceylon to South Africa but once the Americans joined the war, they also used the service, renamed Victory Mail or V-Mail.
