In the last issue Brian Peace wrote of some of the rail crashes that had temporarily stopped the mail, listing a more unusual one – having a boulder fall on the train. In part 2 his focus is on two accidents. One describes the lengths employed to have the mail delivered in the late 1800s, and the other when the mail van is beset with a chemical fire.
